AirAsia X on 17th Jan 2012 announced it will launch daily flights for a new destination sector Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia to/from Sydney, Australia nonstop service start on 1st Apr 2012. The service will run on an Airbus A330 and service to begin 1st Apr 2012 from Kuala Lumpur (KUL) (flight# D7222, departure KUL2340 – arrived 0945+1SYD) and 2nd Apr 2012 from Sydney (SYD) (flight# D7223, departure SYD1055 – arrived 1730KUL) .

AirAsia X is offering one way introductory all in fare from RM999 for Premium class and RM199 for Economy class, travel period on 1st Apr 2012 till 30 Jun 2012. AirAsia X will be flying to Sydney, Australia for the first time.
